United Plastics Corporation, located in Mount Airy, N.C., is your source for plastic profile extrusions as well as flexible sheet and roll goods extrusion. The company was founded in 1946 as Carolina Plastics Co. and manufactured products for the automotive industry.
We supply flexible, rigid and dual durometer profiles, PVC cellular foam profiles, flexible sheet and roll goods for the construction, automotive, furniture and many other industries.
Our wide variety of products are used to make such things as storm windows, entry doors, storm doors, garage doors, point-of-purchase displays, conveyor belt systems, gaskets, awnings and items for the marine and boating industry. We provide full engineering and design services, tool design and manufacturing services, secondary finishing operations and custom polymer color and compounding services.
United Plastics offers flexible sheeting and roll goods, utilizing various polymers. We can produce thicknesses ranging from 0.025 of an inch thick to 0.200 of an inch thick. We can produce flexible sheet and roll goods up to 102 inches in width. United Plastics can purchase and recover your scrap materials for reuse, even if they have other products such as carpet, non-roll goods and other materials attached to them.
In addition to our industrial products, United Plastics has launched multiple consumer and commercial products in the last several years to add to its overall product mix.

United Plastics Corporation is dedicated to producing environmentally-friendly products. We utilize over 80,000 lbs of post-industrial scrap each day that would otherwise end up in landfills. Our products contain recycled materials and are recyclable at end-of-life. Many of our consumer and commercial products quality for LEED points.
